Pedro Feliz got the scoring started with his leadoff HR in the 2nd inning. Here is his HR swing and him receiving his props as he returns to the dugout. He went 1 for 2 on the day......typical Pedro.....1 HR......1 strikeout.

your pix are really quite good. do you mind if I ask what type of camera and lens you use? also, do you use a tripod? thanks.
You are going to be disappointed. I am not a photographer. I use a Canon C740 digital with a built in 10X zoom lens and no tripod. As a matter of fact, most of the time I have a scorebook in my left hand......so the photos are being taken with just my right hand holding the camera. I just take a lot of photos (50-120 per game)and only post the best. Dumb luck.
not disappointed at all. I've done my share of grandstand photos over the years using 35mm Nikons and such. I'm considering a digital, but the ones I've used leave a lot to be desired. I'm going to give a 740 a try. thanks again. and thanks for the ST coverage - it's the first site I go to everyday. have fun.
Actually....shows you what a good photographer I am. I looked today at the game and its an OLYMPUS C740......not a Canon.
