The good news is, that after Atchison and Kim, the Giants' bullpen tightened up and did not allow another run. Jonathan Sanchez, came in to relieve Kim and required exactly 1 pitch to end the inning. Sanchez went on to pitch another 2 scoreless innings, allowing double and a walk. He faced only 1 batter over the minimum due to an unassisted line drive DP to DeLaRosa at SS. Sanchez' last inning was his best as he got 3 can-of-corn flyball outs (1 to each fielder) on 10 pitches. He threw a total of only 23 pitches in his 2.1 innings.

Jonathan has really put himself back into the picture for a spot on the roster. Maybe not as a starter but as the long reliever.

Very skinny!!!!! During windy days in Arizona, the Giants gave Sanchez, Velez and Lincecum waited vest so they wouldn't fly away.
