Jack Taschner followed Chulk, allowing only a groundball basehit up the middle, while getting 2 groundball outs and 1 flyball out. He threw 13 pitches......9 of them strikes. I would feel a lot better about Taschner's outing, but he faced all #80 somethings after the Padres had removed most of their starters.
