Barry Bonds takes a called ball before connecting for a 2 RBI HR in the 4th. Bonds had a very deep SAC fly RBI to RCF in the 1st inning, He struck out looking in the 2nd on what I thought was a bad call. His HR came on a 1-0 count in the 4th. The HR went up into the pavilion up and over the RF bullpen.....about 440-460 feet.

the front leg is straight again now so it looks like Barry is regaining his balance and form this year. Amazing , he will be 43YO this year. If he can hit 25-30HR this year, that would be great.

Yes, this is an excellent diagnostic photo. This is very encouraging. Last year, at this point in his swing, Barry had lifted the front part of his front foot and was up on his front heel, in a power robbing, tentative, kind of self conscious attempt to release the torque on his knee. This looks much more like vintage Barry, with the power all going into the swing. 3 more good weeks and I think he's back.
