Surprise Stadium is near Luke Airforce Base. Here I caught 4 F16's (I think) flying in formation over the stadium. This has nothing to do with the game........I just liked the photo.
I liked it too. I'm not a real artistic person and usually limit my photos to baseball. But I had the camera up ready to take a photo of a player when I heard the jets roaring, and managed to get all 4 of them centered in the photo. Glad someone else liked it.
Yes, those are F16's. Ya normally wouldn't take a girl's word for it, but I used to work with them at my first job out of college. That is a real cool shot! My mom lives in Surprise and you can hear 'em flying around all day long.
I have been a Giants fan for as long as I can remember. I have had Giants Regular Season Tickets for 25 years (since 1985) and Spring Training Season Tickets since the "new" Scottsdale Stadium opened in 1992. I have gone to Spring Training every year, except the strike year, since 1987. I go to A LOT of Giants games. I also go to Arizona for the Arizona Fall League every October/November. I figure I attended about 125-130 games in calendar year 2008......almost all of them involving Giants players. Baseball is a great game.....Giants' baseball is the best part of a great game!
