Noah Lowry started the game and threw 42 pitches over 2.2 innings. Noah had a few control problems, issuing 2 walks. He also only gave up 2 hits, 1 of them was an infield single that was hit too slowly for Omar to make the play. The only other hit was a single that was erased when Benjie Molina threw the runner out at 2B to end the 2nd inning. Only 1 runner made it as far as 2B against Noah who struck out only 1.

Noah has the old changeup grip going here. Sounds like a solid first start. Would like to see more K's out of him. I'll never forget a start he had against Cincy in the first game I ever attended at PacBell/ATT whatever. He not only took a no-hitter into the 7'th inning, but had something like 10 or 11 K's to boot. I'd love to see that Noah Lowry again.

Looks like a pretty loose grip.
