Brian Wilson pitched a scoreless 6th. He gave up 2 singles and struck out 1. He really pitched well. One of the singles was a bunt, where Pedro Feliz was playing too deep and the second was a weakly hit seeing eye groundball that just made it in the hole between 3B and SS. The final out was a broken bat groundball to 2B. One of the best 2 hit innings you will ever see. Wilson threw 14 pitches......only THREE of them balls.
As a note, look how low to the ground Wilson is as he delivers the ball. His butt is actually lower than his left knee.

i'm digging the beard. Gives him the rugged intimidating manliness that helps when your a closer.
totally agree with the beard thing. i think matty mo needs to grow his back as well. what's the giants policy on facial hair again?
Dr B,
You're absolutely right. That is DEFINITELY a Seaver delivery. It's great to see. I'm surprised we don't see more pitchers driving from that low position. I'm hoping it's working for Brian.
What I noticed even before reading the caption was how his right knee was virtually touching the mound. Wow.
