Pat Misch had a much better outing today. He came in to relieve Hennessey with 1 out in the 6th and 1 man on. He pitched a perfect 1.2 innings. Misch had 3 groundouts and 2 strikeouts for a relatively dominating performance.

Why aren't they holding the runner on here?

Maybe there is 2 outs and a runner on second.

Then the runner wouldn't be breaking for second.

Position himself for a trade - have you any concept? How can you call yourself a giants fan when you don't recognize the pure talent the "Misch-on Control" brings to the rubber? As he faces more adversity he will grow into a starter postion. Right now, his talents are best spent as a reliever gaining the experience facing ML caliber bats. Sound off on some other player like Ishikawa having a great AAA season...

I am in agreement about the depth of the pitching roster, however, from last season you can obviously agree with me that the mid-inning replacements lacked everything, including desire. There were too many games last season that went way south in an attempt to get the "W". Misch has proven his control from his days in CT to his Fall Ball rotation this year. (I have had the pleasure of watching him grow through the organization)
I may have spoken a little harshly about your commitment to the team, but Misch has definately earned a spot on the 40 man and will be more of an asset to the team as a reliever; than another run at AAA to position himself.

I like to write, prose amongst other types. So, I like thinking Morris, Lowry and Ortiz are each 4 games over 500 come July, with ERAs in the 3.70 range. One, maybe two, gets traded, probably packaged, for an A+ hitting prospect, and the Giants reach into their minor league system and bring up a Sanchez or a Lincecum or even a Misch - and they don't miss a beat.
