Scott Munter threw the 8th inning today and his seemed to have his sinker back. Scott faced 4 batters and got a strikeout and 2 groundballs. He also allowed a two-out double. Good to see him getting groundballs again.

In the background is Lance Niekro....the forgotten man. Lance came in late in the game to replace Aurilia. Lance had only 1 AB. He pulled a clean single to LF, went from 1st to 3rd on a Jason Ellison single and scored the Giants final run on a wild pitch.

If the sinker is working, Munster can be a very valuable guy in the bullpen. I see the numbers working against him barring a trade or two.

He reminds me of Greg "The Moon Man" Minton.

He is also the polar opposite of Lincecum - no stride whatsoever. Dude must be strong.
