Omar Vizquel had one of his better games so far this spring. He was 2 for 4 with an RBI and a run scored. Here he takes a very awkward swing on a hit & run and still manages to poke the ball over the secondbaseman's head for an RBI. He had a double in the 1st inning and scored on Ray Durham's triple.

To be fair, Omar looks every bit as bad as Pedro on the photo just above.
EXCEPT.......Omar was being forced to swing at a bad pitch because of the hit & run call. Pedro did it all on his own. You HAVE to swing on the hit & run, no matter where the pitch is or how badly the speed fooled you. Omar did a great job putting the bat on the ball on a pitch he shouldn't have touched.
HUGE difference.
