Jack Taschner finished up the game for the Giants and really did not have a good inning. 2 singles and a HR resulted in 2 earned runs. He only threw 4 balls out of 19 pitches, but the strikes were too good. I hope he was throwing the ball down the middle because of the big lead. Not a single Giants' pitcher had a scoreless game.

Dr. B, I thought you wanted Misch to remain a starter. He does have a 00 ERA after 2.1 innings pitched this spring.

He's the guy with the slow, slower, slowest repertoire, n'est pas? Yeah, he could be quite effective coming in for an inning after Cain or Ortiz or Lincecum.

I think Misch's lack of a power pitch has been overstated a little. He is not a power pitcher.......but he is not a Kirk Rueter either. I think he goes 90-91 with regularity.

DrB.....he may be more suited to be a starter........but I think there's a reason why Misch performed exclusively as a reliever in the AFL.
