Eugenio Velez had a good offensive day while playing 4 1/2 innings at 3B. He singled with 1 out in the first. He stole 2nd and 3rd before being stranded on 3B. In the fifth, Velez walked, stole 2nd then went to 3B on an error on the throw to second. He then scored the 2nd run of the game on an Aaron Rowand single. He also had a throwing error in the 4th which allowed an unearned run to be scored off Jack Taschner. Here he is on 2B after his first stolen base. His line; 1 for 3 with a single, a walk, 3 stolen bases and a run scored.

This guy is playing his way onto the 25 man roster! Too bad we have so many old guys that we can't get rid of...
