Keiichi Yabu threw the 3rd, 4th and 5th innings and did a darn good job (for a 39 year old). In his first inning he struck out the side. In his 3rd inning he had a 1-2-3 inning on 3 ground balls. In the middle inning he had a little trouble, allowing a run on 2 hits and a walk. That inning was somewhat marred by a failed DP attempt. On a groundball to SS, Brian Bocock made a perfect feed to Ray Durham, who made what looked like a good pivot at 2B, then threw the ball only about 2/3rds of the way to 1B and failed to turn the DP.
Since there were no outs and 2 men on at the time and the next batter singled, the run would have scored anyway.......but Durham's arm has been exceptionally weak this spring. He has bounced the ball to 1B a couple of times and when he does throw on target, he is throwing slow, looping rainbows. Also on one of the hits Lincecum gave up in the 2nd inning Ray got a very slow jump on a ground ball just to his right and the ball got through for a single. I would say a Major League secondbaseman makes that play 9 out of 10 times.

I think Durham hurt his right shoulder early in ST - must still be bothering him when he throws
