Eliezer Alfonzo had another 0 for 3 day, dropping his average to .040. He still only has 1 hit this spring. Here he takes a rare pitch.....of course it was a strike.
I don't understand why the Giants still seem to think this guy can play. He had half a season where he somehow managed a good batting average, which was basically one month where he hit way over his head, and 2 months where he sucked. Other than that he's never showed an ability to hit and has been even worse at getting on base. Plus he's crap behind the plate. DON'T WANT.
I have been a Giants fan for as long as I can remember. I have had Giants Regular Season Tickets for 25 years (since 1985) and Spring Training Season Tickets since the "new" Scottsdale Stadium opened in 1992. I have gone to Spring Training every year, except the strike year, since 1987. I go to A LOT of Giants games. I also go to Arizona for the Arizona Fall League every October/November. I figure I attended about 125-130 games in calendar year 2008......almost all of them involving Giants players. Baseball is a great game.....Giants' baseball is the best part of a great game!

JMC.....I couldn't agree more. Rodriguez needs to get healthy so he can see some more playing time.
