is leone getting some at-bats? I was looking at his stats and there pretty good, I don't know why the papers aren't considering him or even mentioning him as an option?

Leone is a 31 year old who is in his 10th professional season and who hit only .269 in his 4th straight AAA year last year (career .260 in the minors). He also has 103 Major League ABs and has hit only .214. I suspect his .303 spring average is a result of a small sample size. At any rate....it doesn't make much sense to play 31 year old rookies when you are trying to get younger.

Kudos to Zito for his "Strikeouts for troops," but his JOB is to pitch games. While I applaud his off-field activities, he could Mother Teresa and still suck on the mound. That is unacceptable for the team's highest paid player. PERIOD.
