Here are the two secondbasemen on the day, Travis Denker and Emmanuel Burriss. Denker played the first 6 1/2 innings and was productive in every at bat. In his first AB he grounded out to 3B, but got an RBI. In his 2nd AB he had a 2 out double, In his 3rd AB he walked on a very good 8 pitch at bat. In his final AB he had a 2 run HR.....on an even better 10 pitch at bat. 2 for 3 with a walk, a double, a HR, a run and 3 RBI. Travis is now batting a cool .444 this spring. He just looks like a cool polished batter whenever he comes to the plate.

Manny didn't have the best of days as he went 0 for 1 with a strikeout and committed a throwing error in the bottom half of the 9th.

We LOVED Travis for the short time he was at San Jose...he had a lot of multi-pitch AB's...he has a lot of power and will foul off pitch after pitch before either taking a walk or hitting a bomb!! LOVE HIM!!
