What a stupid question. Of course your boy can't.

For the 8,000th time.......not my boy ;-) The worst move of the off-season was his re-signing.

I am totally confused by the roster at this point. With Klesko, Sweeney and even Feliz able to play the outfield........I don't see the Giants keeping more than 4 true outfielders. Someone is going to be real disappointed. I don't see how Frandsen gets much playing time at all.

Maybe the plan is to get some Spring Training time in and then trade some of the extra position players........I just don't know.

Frandsen is Ray Ray's and Omar's backup. When they rest he gets playing time.... I see Sweeney getting released, he's not really tradeable!

I see a 4 way platoon in the OF w? Bonds, Winn, Roberts, Linden all getting about the same amount of playing time - assuming Linden hits. Klesko and Sweeney get OF playing time only to stay sharp or if one or two guys go down for 2 or 3 days. The IF/bench is much harder to predict. It definitely is stronger than last year. Sweeney will be kept as he is a valuable LH pinch hitter. I think Frandsen gets 250-300 ABs filling in at SS, 2b, and 3b. Feliz is the expected starter, but I think he is on a short leash. If he fails again, I think Fransdsen has a chance to platoon at 3b with Aurelia, who will likely platoon somewhat with Klesko - assuming Klesko hits. So, I think they are in much better shape than last year , they have a lot of competition and won't have to wait until the end of July to plug a Niekro sized hole.

Klesko won't play the OF at all this year without an 18 inning game or 3-way collision of all 3 outfielders on a single play. he can't throw at all and isn't quick.
