- I have been a Giants fan for as long as I can remember. I have had Giants Regular Season Tickets for 25 years (since 1985) and Spring Training Season Tickets since the "new" Scottsdale Stadium opened in 1992. I have gone to Spring Training every year, except the strike year, since 1987. I go to A LOT of Giants games. I also go to Arizona for the Arizona Fall League every October/November. I figure I attended about 125-130 games in calendar year 2008......almost all of them involving Giants players. Baseball is a great game.....Giants' baseball is the best part of a great game!

And where could he possibly be traded to?
I think DR B said "barring a trade" which is a lot different than saying he will be traded. It's going to be between Linden and Ellison for the 4th OF position (I don't think they will carry 5) Linden will in all likelihood win.
so....Barring a trade of some other player, in which case Ellison could make the team, Ellison is toast. Which means the waiver wire.
Ellison will be gone and Fred Lewis will be on the Fresno-SF shuttle this year.
I have seen Lewis play probably 20-25 games over his 2 years in the AFL. If he EVER makes the Giants big league club I will be shocked. He defense is terrible......and he can only maintain his concentration for 5-6 innings MAX. Lots of tools....not much desire.
