Maybe a little hard to tell with the baggy shirt and pants, but yeah, he doesn't look huge does he? Anyway, I kind of like the wiry Fred myself. When I read Baggs comments, I actually had visions of him pulling a hammy in spring training from the bulkier leg muscles.
Hey GFan...I've followed you on the message boards for a long time, but haven't ever visited your sit til now. Anyway, the look of Fred's legs can be deceiving because muscle mass is not equal to size because muscle weighs much more than fat/flab.
I have been a Giants fan for as long as I can remember. I have had Giants Regular Season Tickets for 25 years (since 1985) and Spring Training Season Tickets since the "new" Scottsdale Stadium opened in 1992. I have gone to Spring Training every year, except the strike year, since 1987. I go to A LOT of Giants games. I also go to Arizona for the Arizona Fall League every October/November. I figure I attended about 125-130 games in calendar year 2008......almost all of them involving Giants players. Baseball is a great game.....Giants' baseball is the best part of a great game!

Wasn't it Fred Lewis himself who said his legs were larger? I believe he said his pants didn't fit anymore.
Absolutely love Giants Jottings.
