Noah Lowry also finds some humor in some of the bunting. For the record, I would like to see Lowry and Jonathan Sanchez in a bunting competition. Both of them successfully laid down almost every bunt they attempted. Is it just me, or does Noah look a little soft around the middle?

He does look soft. Hopefully that's just posture. You'd hope - and I'm Noah's biggest fan - that in getting ready for the fight of your career, you'd make sure your gear was good to go.

Glad to hear Sanchez is bunting well. Last season he failed to lay down many a bunts.

As much as I hate to say it, Noah has Mark Prior disease.

He just can't stay healthy. I'm bummed because I met him when he first came up and he was a stand up guy. Been rooting for him since.

I heard Flannery tell Sanchez "What you are doing differently this year is" and then go on a minute long dissertation of what he is doing right this year that he wasn't doing last year.....complete with physical demonstration.

A year out of baseball will do that, I suspect. I think Noah knows exactly what he needs to do to get even in contention for the rotation. I'm not going to write him off as a Mark Prior though.
