Andres Torres was the other fielder who played the entire game. Torres had a good day at the plate, going 2 for 4, scoring a run and striking out once.

Stop me if you have heard this the field he committed a big error, also affecting Matt Cain. With a man on 1B, the batter hit a blooper that fell in front of Andres in shallow CF. The runner must have misjudged Torres' location because he rounded 2B and headed for third. Torres came up throwing and it looked like the runner was going to be out by 20 feet at 3B. Unfortunately, Torres launched a rocket.....that sailed WAY over the Rich Aurila's head and skipped off of the top of the dugout and into the crowd. So, instead of no score, runner out and batter safe at was runner scores......batter ends up at 3B. Just freakin' amazing!

As bad as that sounds, I still wish I was down in AZ to watch this wreck. Future is bright though.
