Great job once again, gf9 - Thank you very much for all your effort and for bringing spring training just a little bit closer to me over here in England.
As for Chulk, he's kinda like the forgotten man of the bullpen with all the young arms the Giants have stockpilled, and I for one am a little more optimistic than most about this years bullpen - even Armando, who I know is a personal favourite of yours :)
Thanks nick. You know the bullpen situation is funny. The fans have been clamoring for the Giants to get younger for years now. Finally, the Giants stockpile a bunch of good young bullpen arms.......and many fans have proclaimed they have the worst bullpen in the league because they only have 3 proven Major League veterans. Damned if you do...damned if you don't I guess.
I agree...with or without Mando...the Giants have a good pen.with a possibility that it cold be very good, depending on how well the kids do.
I am very optimistic too about our bullpen. Once that closer situation works itself out we should be solid because Bochy does a phenominal job with his bullpens. Alot better job then Alou. And we have some nice young arms like you guys mentioned.
Out of those young arms I think Kevin Correia is going to shine and have a great 07'.

I have been a Giants fan for as long as I can remember. I have had Giants Regular Season Tickets for 25 years (since 1985) and Spring Training Season Tickets since the "new" Scottsdale Stadium opened in 1992. I have gone to Spring Training every year, except the strike year, since 1987. I go to A LOT of Giants games. I also go to Arizona for the Arizona Fall League every October/November. I figure I attended about 125-130 games in calendar year 2008......almost all of them involving Giants players. Baseball is a great game.....Giants' baseball is the best part of a great game!
