By request, Pat Misch. Bunting of all things. Looks like he got it down. Hopefully, I will be able to get some of him throwing soon.

I forgot that Misch batted righty. We seem to have a few pitchers now who bat and throw differently (Lincecum and Lowry, are there any others I forgot? I thought there was another). What I don't understand is, why would pitchers like Misch turn around to bat from the wrong side, make them farther from first base, and put their throwing arm in danger?
I hope Misch wins a spot in the bullpen. His stuff looked decent in his starts up with the big club last season, but I guess some seasoning down in Fresno won’t hurt.
Thanks for this site! Your coverage is much better than anything else we get. Heck, Ray Ratto and Henry Shulman were so lazy they practically wrote the same column for today's SF Chronicle.
I have been a Giants fan for as long as I can remember. I have had Giants Regular Season Tickets for 25 years (since 1985) and Spring Training Season Tickets since the "new" Scottsdale Stadium opened in 1992. I have gone to Spring Training every year, except the strike year, since 1987. I go to A LOT of Giants games. I also go to Arizona for the Arizona Fall League every October/November. I figure I attended about 125-130 games in calendar year 2008......almost all of them involving Giants players. Baseball is a great game.....Giants' baseball is the best part of a great game!

Kline throws lefty and the once every decade he gets an AB...he bats right.
