Dr B...here is another shot of Sandoval. He is certainly not a "skinny mini".......but he is not the fat pig we were led to believe either.

Hmm...he's not skinny, is he? Still, I can at least envision him playing baseball at that weight. Pretty scary that he's only 19 yo though. What's going to happen when he "fills out?" Let's keep our fingers crossed.

That shot of Sandoval reminds me of Bill Madlock for some reason. Remember him? I remember a story in the Chronicle back in Madlock's day about Family Day at Candlestick. There was some fat kid running around on the field. Some other player looked at him and said "you must be a Madlock." LOL!

I wish he was still a catcher, as that's obviously our biggest weakness in the arm (along with it being the hardest thing to draft/develop)

However, I'm sure he was moved for a reason

The party line is that the Giants love Sandoval's bat and they were afraid it wouldn't develop as well if he stayed at catcher.

Thanks for the great photos. Keep up the great work! I was also especially excited by the pictures of Sandoval. On the MLB.com photo, he looked positively obese. Looks like a baseball player here.
