Hey i was wondering (i guess requesting) if you had pictures of the lesser known NRI's like Chad Santos and De La Rosa...really appereciate the blog...such a service to giants fans everywhere
yes i like seeing bonds pictures especially when he launches the only HR in over an hour of batting practice!! if he can stay healthy, its gonna be a fun ride in 2006
I'd be especially interested in seeing pictures of the more promising minor-leaguers: Ortmeier, Schierholtz, Fransden, whoever might be in camp. And thanks for providing us fans with a vicarious vacation!
Lyle....that is easier said than done. If you have read the entire Blog, you will know that there are 2 1/2 practice fields. I can really only see all that is happening on the main field. So far, the veterans seem to be working out on the main field and the youngsters on the secondary field. I love the kids and will try to get more photos of them. But with the configuration of the facility and the workout schedule, that has been tough.
I have been a Giants fan for as long as I can remember. I have had Giants Regular Season Tickets for 25 years (since 1985) and Spring Training Season Tickets since the "new" Scottsdale Stadium opened in 1992. I have gone to Spring Training every year, except the strike year, since 1987. I go to A LOT of Giants games. I also go to Arizona for the Arizona Fall League every October/November. I figure I attended about 125-130 games in calendar year 2008......almost all of them involving Giants players. Baseball is a great game.....Giants' baseball is the best part of a great game!
